Plane representation of solids

Rules of cavalier perspective

The cube ABCDEFGH is represented in the cavalier perspective

In a drawing in cavalier perspective, we apply the following rules:

RULE 1: Two parallel lines are represented by two parallel lines.
example:

The opposite edges of the cube ABCDEFGH

Rule 2: The segments of equal lengths, whose supports are parallel, are represented by two
segments of the same length.

example:

* [AB], [CD], [EF] and [HG] have the same length.

* [AD], [BC], [EH] and [FG] have the same length.

Rule 3: In a frontal plane, a figure is represented in its true size, according to a scale.
